Join Zack in his April Shack Challenge!

Well Zack is back once again. This young man lives down the street from me and every year for the last three years he sets up a lemonade stand to raise money to buy wheelchairs for people in need. Last year he raised enough money to buy several wheelchairs. This year he has increased his goal and asked that other kids consider joining him. As a result of the first years (2010) campaign word spread and several others did there own campaign in 2011. Now he is actively pushing for more kids from around the country to get involved.

We at LDS Philanthropies have been helping him. We set up a donation page for him and all those kids who join him. Here is the complete story with the links to get involved. He has also set up a Facebook Event Page. The stand opens April 13-14 on Center street in Provo.

  1. This is such a neat story. It's one thing to have a great idea, and another to actually do it. It also helps that he has wonderful parents and grandparents to encourage and support him. I think this is a wonderful, uplifting story.
